One of the main characters in my book is Jess Aarons. He likes to run and draw and is best friends with Leslie Burke.He wants to be the fastest kid in the fifth grade.He wishes that he could be with Leslie's family because his family is poor so Jess has to do a lot of work. Some problems Jess has are his sisters. Ellie and Brenda are the oldest kids and have been mean to Jess ever since he stopped letting them wheel him around like a baby in their rusty doll carriages. His two younger sisters , May Belle and Joyce Ann, are not much better. May Belle worships Jess which is sometimes nice but Joyce Ann is a big baby who will cry just because you looked at her cross. Jess and Leslie also made a magical land called Terabithia to escape all their troubles so I guess that you could say that he is imaginative. I like Jess because he is funny, nice, and is a good kid. That is what Jess
